cutting child porn from ao3 is not going to be a ‘slippery slope’ to full blown ‘censorship’, you guys are just pedophiles
There is no child porn on AO3. That is a false statement perpetuated by pro censorship groups in order to promote their repressive goals.
Child pornography is pornographic material (images, videos etc) of actual children. That is why it is illegal to produce, transmit, or possess. Because it involves the sexual abuse, assault and exploitation of ACTUAL REAL CHILDREN.
AO3 is a US website that abides by US law. US law prohibits any involvement whatsoever with child porngraphy - possession, creation, transmission etc. If there was child pornography on AO3 not only would the website be taken down but everyone involved would be in prison. This has not happened because there is no child pornography on the site.
There are some fictional stories on AO3 that include fictional sex scenes between fictional characters who are underage. But that is not child porgraphy and is legal. Just the way Game of Thrones has sex scenes involving underage characters but that’s legal because in real life the actors and actresses are all legal adults. It is legal because no actual children are harmed.
Actual children are harmed though when pro censorship people pull stunts like trying to report AO3 to the FBI for child pornography. While these complaints did not result in any actions against AO3 because there was no child pornography it means that time that could have been used to investigate real claims about real child pornography that put real children in harms way was wasted. And that hurts children.
But these people don’t care about children. They don’t even care about banning fictional subject matter that depicts underage sex. If they did they would be campaigning equally hard against HBO for airing Game of Thrones and George RR Martin for writing A Song of Ice and Fire both of which include underage sex scene as well as other dark subject material like rape. What they really care about it claiming the moral high ground to justify harassment campaigns and censorship of marginalized communities.
alexsandr kallus is a better fascist turned redeemed hero character than kylo fucking ren because although they both were fascist officers and heavily involved in literal genocide, kallus was the one who had to sit through the aftermath of what he did and actually do something about it. he realized his faith in the system was flawed and horrific and was forced to work with a survivor of said genocide and see the humanity in him, and then because of that, started asking questions and deconstructing his destructive worldview on his own. but that wasn’t enough!!! then he spent a whole season putting himself in mortal peril spying for the rebellion and trying to earn back his moral code and establish the rebellion’s faith in him, and even after he succeeded in that, even after he became a trusted spy, he STILL had to get the shit kicked out of him by heroes and villains alike before finally escaping the empire for good, bruised and bloodied, and THEN HE STILL got mocked and put in his place by teenagers and old soldiers, making sure his ego stayed humble and THEN, BECAUSE THAT WASNT ENOUGH EITHER, HE HAD A GAY HONEYMOON HAPPY ENDING WITH THE MAN WHO GOT HIM TO DEFECT IN THE FIRST PLACE. he even respected women. he was even voiced by david oyelowo. literally characters of all time. kyle ron could never
I think at this point it would be hilarious if Zeb and Kallus show up in the last episode of Ahsoka as an end-of-credits scene – after possibly having watched Thrawn return just minutes before, we see our boys sitting in their respective living room chairs on Lira San drinking their morning caf and reading the Lira San newspaper on their datapads.
Then, Zeb looks up at Kallus and says something along the lines of, “I wonder how the new republic is doing without us…”
To which Kallus gives him a tired look as he removes his reading glasses and says, “We’re retired, Garazeb. Please try to relax - and stop worrying. We’ve only been gone a month, what could they have possibly managed to do wrong in a month?”

This is so disrespectful and disgusting. Tem is an amazing actor (who has done multiple voice acting projects btw), a fan favorite, and has been nothing but publicly enthusiastic about Star Wars and his roles in it. The fact Disney keeps snubbing him time and time again makes it impossible not to suspect ill-will and racism.
